Calendula is a flowering herb sometimes called Pot Marigold. It's vibrant petals have been used for centuries to make an infusion‚ form part of tea blends and in cooking and salads. Calendula is also used in some herbal remedies for it's soothing qualities. It makes a very mild infusion and can be made into a warm‚ soothing drink or you can experiment adding the leaves to your own recipe blends for teas and you can also add to to give a colourful splash to salads.
Suggested brewing: 1 heaped teaspoon per .250ml of water. Water temperature 100C Infusion time: between 3 and 7 minutes
